#BRGiving – The Novelty in celebration of special days

The Giving Story:
Fairfax County launched an initiative called “Stuff the Bus.” The purpose is to collect necessities like food, hygiene products from donors and distribute to the families in need. This week the bus made its top at Walmart on Route 29 in Fairfax, VA. The BR team jumped on the opportunity to serve the community by joining forces with the county.
The BR volunteers visited the bus with loads of cooking oil, shampoo, detergent, cereal, beans, breakfast bars, toilet papers, etc. and ‘stuffed the bus.’ The team had several BR junior members as well.
BR Team is grateful to the giving team for this day to brave the cold and continue to enforce BR Giving’s mission of giving back to the society.
