Terms & Conditions
By registering for the Best Runners Run for Charity 1K & 5K Run/Walk, you agree to the following:
1. **Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable Fee:**
The event registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
2. **Assumption of Risks:**
You acknowledge and accept that participation in the event involves
inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of injury,
property loss, or serious harm. You confirm that you are physically fit
to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a healthcare
professional.
3. **Release of Liability:**
You hereby waive, release, and discharge Best Runners, its sponsors,
race directors, employees, event owners, volunteers, and all associated
entities (including state, city, county, and local authorities) from any
and all claims, liabilities, or losses—whether for death, personal
injury, property damage, medical costs, theft, or any other damages—that
may arise from your participation in the event. This release extends to
claims resulting from the negligence of any of the aforementioned
entities or individuals.
4. **Compliance with Event Rules:**
You agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the Best
Runners Run for Charity 1K & 5K Run/Walk organizers.
5. **Authorization for Use of Personal Information:**
You authorize Best Runners to use your email address, personal
information, and any photographs taken during the event for marketing
purposes, including on social media.
6. **Acknowledgment of Course Conditions:**
You acknowledge that the course may include traffic and other
hazards. You assume all risks associated with participating in this
event, including but not limited to, risks related to falls, collisions
with other participants, weather conditions, defective equipment, road
conditions, and interactions with spectators or volunteers.
7. **No Legal Action:**
You agree not to initiate any legal action against Best Runners, its
sponsors, race directors, employees, volunteers, or any associated
entities for any claims, losses, or liabilities that may arise from your
participation in the event.
