The Giving Story:
Balla family celebrated Basant Panchami (Saraswati Puja) by donating items requested by the shelter. Basant Panchami marks the preparation for welcoming Basant Ritu (Spring Season), preparation for upcoming Holi festival. This festival is also dedicated to Goddess Saraswati who is the goddess of knowledge, language, music and all arts. She symbolizes creative energy and power in all forms. Yellow is color of the festival. People wear yellow color clothes and share yellow colored snacks and sweets. BR Team wishes everyone happy Basant Panchami!
Balla family along with two children – Harsha and Pragnya visited the local grocery store and purchased cleaning supplies. The cleaning supplied were requested by the shelter management as their immediate need. Satya and family delivered the items as well.
